15 year customer of Amex, perhaps $500,000 of personal and business transactions, perhaps $1,000,000 in transactions through my business, payments generally very good, occasionally missed a week or two, but always immediately paid and cleared. Suddenly everything canceled - thank you Amex, you are a disgrace. I remember way back there used to be this great feeling that with an Amex card, you really did have the bank behind you. In the last 7-8 years this has died away as their procedures have become less flexible until now they are just another worthless credit card company, a pedestrian financial services company dressed up in multicolor marketing but with no true customer value. Amex -just another crappy credit card..."that'll do nicely..." 1286303
