This company insured me over the phone thru my travel agent. I recently had to cancel the trip due to a new medical condition ( a herniated disc), however, they denied me on a preexisting condition that has nothing to do with the condition that happened in Oct/November well after the 60 day prior to condition. I called the agent 3 times, received no call back". Had to call her a 4th time to speak with her about them obtaining additional evidence from my physician/.She said the company does not assist the customer in obtaining additional information, they do not have a preprinted form -nothing?. I have to d the recon all on my own to submit more medical,. In her words: "Your case is considered closed", that's it folks, we took your money, we denied you and go sit in a corner and cry?.

Well I'm not finished with this company'. AMEX is supposedly customer friendly but this company is nay friendly to their bottom linnet to the customer;. Shame on AMEX, they misrepresented their travel insurance - which by the way only covers $1000 of loss/. Piddling amount for a billion dollar corporation. 128634f
