The situation has been resolved. They did return my money after a second dispute.

Please be aware of what you do with this card. You can use the set aside account to keep your money from being able to be spent without your knowledge and transfer the money back to your account when you are ready to spend it. Be VERY careful. I am glad I got my money back, just disheartened at how long the process took, how many phone calls i needed to make to get it done, the amount of time spent on the phone with several representatives and the hoops I had to jump through.

My money was not returned to me until jANUARY 31ST 2017.

That's 34 days later. Just be careful.

American Express Rewards Rip off

i got a new American Express Card and they told me to refer my Friends and when they got approved you will get $ 100.00 well news flash that is a LIE all they want from you is your friends contact info. so they can get them to apply for the American Express. Well they told me 8 weeks and its been that and some, then they tell me well we cant find any thing about this , then they keep changing there story and then tonight the guy makes me sit here and wait and then tells you " well you dont Qualify and so I dont get the $ 100.00 I was told that i would get ? this is BS ....People out there DO NOT APPLY FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD AND NEVER GIVE GIVE THEM YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS CONTACT INFO... its all one big rip off............ I did call them on the phone and I chatted with them

American Express - Customer Care Review

I receive my American Expresse everyday card on the December 31, 2016 and the reason being they mailed it to the wrong address UPS indicated to me no such address so even though I applied in the beginning of December 2016 I did not receive the card until the end of the month. when I call corporate she saw the error she said we're going to give you a credit of $50. I didn't realize that $50 would *** me at the end unfortunately they will me on January 20th. I've been fighting this for ever I said how in the world could you bill me 20th days after December 31st when I didn't have the card that should not be the case I told them my billing should be January 20th in turn they said to me well they compensate you with $50. When I went into the account an saw a extra charge on the account. I called Corpafter I decided to add up all my charges that I made and deduct the credit yoga holds $29.70I said that was already applied and credited so how is there still a balance they had no answers that would generate around for an answer well that should change what I don't understand how is there now it should even be there they have no answers for anything corporate customer service I told them I'm going to wait I will pay the whole bill the whole bill when it comes and I will definitely not use this American Express or any American Express I should have not accepted it at all when they messed up in the beginning I knew this was going to be a mess up all the way around sometimes your better off listen to yourself so now I'm here waiting to see what excuse they going to give me give about crediting for the $29.70. I have called them several times not one of them can give me the right answer not my answer they just see it the way that you see it even if it's wrong they don't know how to think outside the box so I'm through talking to them I will take care of my business on my own.
