I returned an item to Kroger, with my receipt, two days after I purchased it, and, it has been 5 days and I'm still waiting for American Express to release my credit to me. What a joke...they say it's going to take up to 7 days to review this credit of $8.11, and it's already been 3 days since Kroger credited it back to me, and now, they're holding it hostage!

What a scam! I have called customer service twice and I get the same canned answers...they don't really know why they hold the refund credits. All they're doing is keeping my money and using it, and then they make me wait about 10 days to get my credit (My Money) back in my account. This is just a reloadable card I use for my direct deposit!

What the *** is going on? I have never heard of such lame BS in my life!

They are doing the same to me for $178.55 . They are a complete joke.


They would not put my credit on my account until a full 7 days had passed, down to the exact hour and minute that it came through originally. I'm cancelling my card!
