I called to get the pass code to get concert tickets a couple days before I needed it. I was given a code that had expired. When I finally got help the day of the rep told me my card didnt qualify. I tried the phone number on the back of my card and I got in. This caused me to not get so great of tickets which made me disappointed.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I don’t know if you guys contacted them or watt but the last time I called they said yes my card was activated so something transpired between the time I talk to you and I talk to them so I appreciate your help

My Balance

I signed onto my app to pay my balance in full to avoid interest when my 0% offer expires on August 8th. There were a couple of things pending so I added those charges to the balance showing in the app and therefore after adding them and submitting the payment my app showed a payment overage. I signed back on awhile later maybe an hour or two and low and behold I have no payment overage but another balance of 103.88 I am livid of course! If I owed that amount why didnt it show when I paid??? I called and spoke with Ira and also to Phillip who were way less than helpful. All they could say was that they couldnt agree with what I was saying because my balance showing is 103.88 Undoubtedly I know that because I called you!!! They provided no answers and no explanation for the issue which was why I closed my app with a small overage and open it an hour or two later with a 103.88 balance. American Express obviously does not care about their card holders period. My advice is to stay far away from this company. Erroneous charges appear and they cannot or will not account for them. By the wayI paid that balance too for the expressed purposes that I paid my previous balancethat I not incur interest! Why would I lie? There would be no purpose. I didnt want to owe them. It is not the amount so much as it is the principal of the matter. Shady business dealings at best!

Preferred solution: A valid explanation! I cannot it seems rely on that a posted payment covers the balance showing even when my balance after payment shows an overage of payment.

Credit dispute

Trying to resolve an issue with American Express over three years old. Had a charge on my card of around $340.00 from Amazon.Com for a purchase that I NEVER made. I send emails (3) and called about 5 times to try to resolve this but to no avail!!! American Express has since turned this over to collections and I am requesting this issue get resolved as I DID NOT make this purchase plus NO such Charge EVER showed up on my Amazon Account. I received a text from USPS about a package which wasnt delivered because of inadequate address. I filled out my full address and they wanted my credit card for an extra charge for delivery. Please be aware I may have made a mistake. I have been waiting for packages before I left for out of state trip. Responded too quickly!
