I have been a customer of Amex for 11 years with three platinum cards. Personal, Corp and Delta.

I disputed charges that were being processed on an old number. Customer service said they would do a 4 year vendor block and I would not be responsible for charges. So I continued to dispute and call customer service. Well guess what they waited forever to respond and the responded they cancelled ALL 3 OF MY CARDS, had me re apply, approved the cards, then cancelled those leaving a MAJOR NEGATICE IMPACT ON MY CREDIT REPORT OF now 6 cancelled cards and three more inquires.

Oh and not to mention, kept all my points, and no proration of all those huge Annual fees of which were paid recently.

Calling customer service, new accounts and supervisor helped. I was just told re apply in 3-5 years and MAYBE they would want me as a client

I didn't like: Bad service and incompetence, Bad customer service, Treat longterm customers like dirt.
