I recently purchased a gift-card at my local grocery store for a friend and when I used it. They said there was no money on my gift card and the store did not active it.
When I called American Express they said I need a receipt to get a refund for my gift card that did not work. I am out $25.00 this is wrong for a company that is large as American Express to pull this *** on there customers.
The company makes Billions of dollars off there use of there Credit Card for American Express. Why would anyone want to use there brand if they are going to get ripped off there company.
